Vollerwiek in Eiderstedt

On the southern side of the Eiderstedt Peninsula, halfway between Tönning and St. Peter-Ording, lies the town of Vollerwiek. Situated directly on the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the town stretches along the green dike line and is perfect for walking, watt hiking, and biking. Narrow streets wind through the municipality along the expansive fields all the way to the town center.
