The beach at St. Peter-Ording is nestled in the heart of a truly unique landscape—mudflats, dunes, salt marshes, and the North Sea are all part of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. From a beach chair, you can enjoy this vast expanse without disturbing it. A walk along the water’s edge or a photo in front of the famous stilt houses are must-dos on any vacation!

In St. Peter-Ording, in the local district "Bad", you’ll find the health and wellness center, which offers a wide range of massages and treatments. You can even book some of these treatments as a couple. It’s an ideal outing, even when the weather’s bad. Treat yourself and your companion to something special!

Discover Eiderstedt

A Stroll Through the Village/Town

In Eiderstedt, you’ll find plenty of places to stroll and shop. Tönning combines a harbor atmosphere, history, and the Wadden Sea, while canals and historic houses give the Dutch-style town of Friedrichstadt its unique character. Visit Garding, the heart of the peninsula, or St. Peter-Ording, which boasts two centers and a wide variety of shops: the town centers of St. Peter-Dorf and St. Peter-Bad offer the perfect balance between a quiet, traditional side and a lively, open-minded atmosphere.

Along the way, you’ll find many small villages, each inviting you to take a stroll and eager to be discovered.
