The small village church of St. Katharina, first mentioned in 1113 and located in the center of town, is worth seeing. Unique to Eiderstedt are the clock inside the church and the statue of a horse and its rider, which has its own special story. On the outside, on the east wall of the church, a stone relief by Martje Flohrs is embedded in the wall, depicting a girl in traditional Eiderstedt attire.
