From April through October, you can also experience the lighthouse in the evening light on select dates—not just during the day. And when you climb to the top, the observation deck offers a sweeping view of the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site—and with a little luck, you’ll be treated to a sunset you’ll never forget.

In the workshop at Sandiek, the sand sculpture studio in Westerhever, you’ll first learn the basics of what you can do with sand.
