Not far from the center of Kotzenbüll lies the Mars-Skipper-Hof, a traditional Haubarg (traditional farm housing) typical of the Eiderstedt region, which rises above the vast marsh landscape and is visible from afar.

Here, the association “Ein Garten für die Sinne e.V.” operates an experiential garden—unique in northern Germany—where visitors can explore and test their senses at around 80 activity stations both outdoors and inside the Haubarg (traditional farm housing).

St. Nikolai Church in Kotzenbüll

Idyllically situated on a mound in the center of Kotzenbüll, the venerable St. Nikolai Church overlooks the village. Unfortunately, due to structural defects, the church is currently closed to the public, but it’s definitely worth a look from the outside.
