The Spiele-Hus, giant slide, outdoor playground, and numerous activities make the Erlebnis-Hus a favorite spot for families. And that’s not all: everything is free to use with your guest card. Our Erlebnis-Hus is a place where children, teens, adults, and families come together. A place where playful experiences, spending time together, and discovery tours take center stage.

The building has four floors and is surrounded by a large outdoor playground.

A Spiele-Hus, a Daddel-Hus, a restaurant, a skate park, and lots of great activities and events await you. So

Our Erlebnis-Hus invites young and old alike to play, run around, and get creative together.

Here at the Spiele-Hus, you’ll find a 300-square-meter indoor playground, games as far as the eye can see, a cooking and baking station, and many other great activities to discover. Nowhere else in St. Peter-Ording will you find more laughter and joy—we promise!

Please note: Socks must be worn inside the Spiele-Hus. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and older may enter without an adult if they provide proof of age.

Daddel-Hus

A new gathering place for games, fun, and spending time together has opened at the Erlebnis-Hus—our Daddel-Hus!

If you want to test your skills at foosball or just play a relaxed game of pool with your friends or family, then the Daddel-Hus is the perfect place for you.

Or would you rather play air hockey? Here, the choice is yours.

The Daddel-Hus’s hours of operation follow those of the Spiele-Hus.

Paid parking is available nearby at the parking lot by the Strandklinik St. Peter-Ording and at the Bermeparkplatz near Südstrand.

The front-row parking spaces are available for a fee, and there are two charging stations for electric cars.
You can reach the Erlebnis-Hus directly via the adjacent nature trail.

This parking lot can be used free of charge with a valid parking permit.

Bicycle racks are also available at the Erlebnis-Hus.

In the parking lot near the Strandklinik, in the first row of parking spaces, there is an electric charging station capable of charging two vehicles at the same time. From there, the Erlebnis-Hus is within walking distance via the nature trail.

The Outdoor Experience

There's plenty going on outside, too

Right in front of the Erlebnis-Hus, a playground paradise awaits you and your family. In addition to a large playground right next to the Erlebnis-Hus and the approximately 1-kilometer-long Erlebnis-Promenade, children of all ages play together and enjoy the fresh North Sea air!

*Skateboards and helmets can be reserved and rented at the Adventure Shop. They will then be picked up at the Spiele-Hus.

Outdoor Slide

Another highlight that’s sure to make kids’ hearts race is our slide, which is more than 47 meters long and takes you from a height of 20 meters down to the outdoor playground on the ground floor in a matter of seconds.

The slide is open to all ages (ages 6 and up).

The Erlebnis-Promenade

The journey of discovery continues along the Erlebnis-Promenade—with playgrounds, nature, places to relax, and plenty of space for your own ideas. Here, you can experiment, marvel, and just take a break whenever you like. Truly North German. Truly relaxed. And always with the North Sea nearby. On the Erlebnis-Promenade, you can playfully get to know the Wadden Sea’s “Big Five.” The five themed playgrounds feature the white-tailed eagle, the harbor seal, the porpoise, the gray seal, and the sturgeon.

This turns play into a journey of discovery.

Big Five Safari

Take a ride along the Adventure Promenade in our Safari electric vehicles. There are puzzles to solve at five stations along the way. It’s the perfect tour to learn even more about the Wadden Sea and its inhabitants.

A playground on the beach overlooking the Wadden Sea, a World Natural Heritage Site. A gathering place for families that leaves a lasting impression.
